The Manor House Hotel in Wiltshire - Our Chosen Charity
Each year a group of employees from the
luxurious Manor House Hotel in Wiltshire meet to nominate a charity
to work with in the coming 12 months. This year the "Staff
Consultative Committee" decided that our chosen charity would be
Macmillan Cancer Support. We are delighted to support them as
part of our on going hotel charity work.

Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected
by cancer. They provide practical, medical and financial
support and push for better cancer care with the primary goal
of reaching and improving the lives of everyone living with cancer.
2011 celebrates 100 years of Macmillan and their ongoing
efforts to help improve those affected by cancer.
The team at the Manor House Hotel in Wiltshire is proud to
support Macmillan by staging fundraising events throughout the
year.

In celebration of 30 years of Exclusive Hotels we have joined
together with charities who are special to us.
We aim to raise £30,000 (or more!) for Macmillan Cancer
Support which we will match, pound for pound, up to £30,000
for the hospitality charity Springboard. We look to achieve this
target by orgnising a number of a sponsored events
including walks, family fun days and gala dinners. The
core event a bike ride which will start at Fanhams Hall Hotel
in Hertfordshire on Wednesday 20th July and covering 456km. It
will visit all of our country house hotels and golf clubs
along the way, finishing at South Lodge Hotel in West Sussex on
Sunday 24th July with a spectacular Gala Dinner.

Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning
The National World’s Biggest Coffee Morning has raised over £60
million in total for Macmillan Cancer Support with last year’s
event raising over £8 million for people living with cancer.
Join us at the Manor as we do our bit for this
fantastic cause. Bring your own cake and a chef from our Michelin
Starred team will judge a grand winner with the fantastic prize of
dinner and a night’s stay at the Manor House up for grabs.
