Tea for Two?
We are delighted to announce that the Manor House Hotel is the
proud winner of The Tea Guild's "Top City & Country
Hotel Tea Awared 2010"
The Tea Guild’s team of tea experts have taken
tea in hotels and tearooms in London and across Britain in order to
find the finest tea experiences and all visits have been anonymous
to ensure the results are fair and accurate. The judges awarded
points for the variety, excellence and knowledge of the teas
offered, together with the quality of food, service, décor,
ambience, and presentation.
Summing up, one judge said: “The staff
knowledge of tea was the best I have experienced. Bearing in mind
the luxury afforded, the high quality of the tea and the very
efficient and willing service we thought it offered excellent value
for money.”

Watch out for Bybrook Head Chef Richard Davies appearing on the
BBC 2 programme, Great British Menu! Richard joined other top
British chefs to compete for the chance to cook one course of a
four course banquet!
The first programme will be shown on BBC 2
on Monday 5th April 2010 at 6:30pm
