Enclosed in 365 acres of gorgeous countryside we have an award winning golf course, a private tennis court, a beautifully situated croquet green, a hotel putting green and the Paddock area perfect for hosting fun events and activities.

The Manor House Golf Course is located within the estate and was originally designed by Peter Alliss. The course is highlighted with a variety of challenging features including a signature waterfall on the 18th hole.

Tennis

Located within a secluded area of the grounds our private Tennis court is free for your use. We can also arrange for you to receive private tuition from our very own professional Tennis coach, advanced booking necessary.

Croquet

With the 14th century Manor House as a backdrop and the Bybrook river meandering on by there is no better way to spend the afternoon than with a game of croquet and some refreshing ice cold drinks.

Putting Green

If you don't fancy playing a full 18 holes on our award winning course then you could always have you very own putting competition on the Hotel lawns.

Brown Trout Fishing - Seasonal

If you fancy yourself as a fly fishing pro then grab a rod, some flys and make your way over to the Bybrook river within the grounds of the hotel (April - September and fishing license needed).

Walk Castle Combe, Wiltshire and the Cotswolds all in one day. A fantastic array of footpaths, bridlepaths and public rights of way can be found in the local area, providing you with some outstanding walking routes with breathtaking views.

With a personal tutor to guide you in the intricacies of this ancient sport, you will find learning an enjoyable experience. Prior notice is required. This can be arranged onsite for corporate events, alternatively it is a 15 minute drive away.
