Glorious surroundings, beautiful rooms, unobtrusive but competent service, fantastic food and a good wine list - what more could you want? One could be forgiven for thinking that one had died and been sent to heaven. The finishing touch was the personal Christmas tree in every bedroom.

A real Christmas treat - on departure, the concierge de-iced the car and warmed it up for us prior to bringing it to the front entrance - luxury indeed!!
